NDI Bunyonyi Options
Welcome to NBO BY YOBU ADVENTURES UGANDA LIMITED , We are a local group of young individuals based in the South western Uganda who are mainly focused to providing local tourism services among the people that come from our region, other regions of Uganda, East Africa, Africa & the Entire Globe!
We are born, raised and living in this Gorilla Highland region which has enabled us acquire the knowledge & expertise the most everyone need to know around our region. We know a lot to explain from the introduction, formation, people, landscapes, mountains, economic, social, flora & Fauna including what we expect for the future!

Lake Bunyonyi (“Place of many little birds”) is in south-western Ugaanda between Kisoro and Kabale close to the border with Rwanda The lake appeared from 2004 to 2009 on the Ush 5,000/= note under the title “Lake Bunyonyi and terraces“.
Scientific literature generally quotes a maximum depth of 40 m (130 ft), but some tourist guides and locals insist that it is much deeper, about 900 m (3,000 ft), which would make it the second-deepest lake in Africa.
Your Activity Options
OPTN1. LAKE BUNYONYI ISLAND HOOPING (2 hrs), $20.00 PP (14 PAX Max) & $40.00 (solo traveler)
On a motorized boat ride to the islands with at least a nature walk on one of the islands. Here you see about 7 (seven) islands like Punishment, Bwama, Bushara, Kyahugye among others! To where ever you feel to have a walk (except Punishment Island), you get a half an hour max walk and then return to the boat for further ride!
This gives an opportunity of a game walk on Kyahugye island (20,000/= UGX direct pay per head)! As you walk, you are able to see zebras, water backs, impala, and Uganda Kob among others!
OPTN2. Canoe Tracking & Island on the sky view (10hrs - $60.00 PP), $80 solo traveler!
Nearly the same to (1 above) with a bonus hiking to top half of the hill where you get a 330degrees view of the Lake region!
OPTN3. Nature walk (3hrs more - $10.00 PP)
Grab a stick and undertake the nature walk! We head you to Arcadia Lodge for expectedly sun set & lake views on weather clear day!
OPTN4. One night boot camp on the island (2 Days, one night - $135 PP Full Board Basis)!
Day 1 (One): Have a day canoe trekking & then overnight in a tent at Tom’s Island.
Day 2 (two): Have an island nature walk & stories from the elders! Have the lunch and paddle back to your Overland Camp/Hotel for overnight.

OPTN8. Batwa (pygmy) village visit $ 40 PP ($100 Solo traveler), $100 (Solo Traveler, $60 PPby car to Ichuya Forest1
A four to five hours visit to the Batwa village will give a spectacular sight of the Africa’s indigenous forest people!
The Batwa used to live in the ichuya forest and were later in 1994 seriously evacuated from the forests of Ichuya , Mgahinga & Bwindi for the purpose of said Conservation!
